Consulate of Canada in Detroit names new Honorary Consul in Ohio

Thompson Hine’s Daniel D. Ujczo was appointed as Canada’s new Honorary Consul in Ohio. The five-year appointment is a formal role approved by Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

“Dan is a keen observer of Ohio’s relationship with its northern neighbor. He has a distinguished career focused on economic and policy issues that are relevant to Canada including trade facilitation, regulatory cooperation, and border security. On behalf of the Government of Canada, I would like to express our warm welcome” said Consul General Comartin.
