Zabrina M. Jenkins is vice president, assistant general counsel of global litigation & employment and interim chief ethics & compliance officer for Starbucks Coffee Company. In this capacity, Zabrina leads four teams responsible for labor and employment, intellectual property, antitrust, real estate, commercial and general liability litigation, global privacy and ethics & compliance.
Zabrina was a core member of the 2018 Philadelphia incident crisis management response team. She personally led the negotiations and creative resolution of claims against the company stemming from the highly publicized arrests of two customers. Zabrina serves as an advisor to the Starbucks Policy Governance Council, the Diversity Committee for the Law & Corporate Affairs department, and the Audit Committee for the Starbucks board of directors.
Koriambanya S. (Kori) Carew is an attorney and community builder who generates awareness and understanding of critical human issues by creating the climate for open dialogue that is meaningful and enables people to expand their perspective and drive positive change. She brings a keen sensitivity to belonging and inclusion across differences and creating space for the underrepresented.
Kori most recently served as the director of Strategic Diversity Initiatives of an AmLaw 100 law firm, leading all efforts related to the firm’s primary diversity and inclusion drivers of excellence, education and equity across 12 offices. Liaising with key stakeholders to recruit, develop, engage and advance attorneys from diverse backgrounds, the firm won over 40 awards recognizing its leadership in diversity and inclusion under her leadership.
